UPDATE for procedures beginning June 28, 2021
We have always practiced good cleaning/disinfection protocols and will continue with the frequency and depth of those efforts paying attention to frequently touched surfaces. Each treatment area continues to have air purifiers that have a high CADR (clean air delivery rate), equipped with true HEPA filters, carbon filters and UVC light.
Masks will be optional for patients and our staff. Please be assured, as always, no staff member will be allowed to come to work if they feel unwell.
Since wearing a mask is optional you can make arrangements with your physical therapist regarding this issue so that you feel safe.
Please note that you are fully and personally responsible for your own safety and actions during your appointment at OutBack Physiotherapy Centre, Inc. Recognize that you may be at risk of contracting COVID-19 knowing that the WHO has declared this novel virus a worldwide pandemic.
To stay open and maintain a healthy environment we ask that you take full responsibility to cancel your appointment if you're are not feeling well. Symptoms include: fever, fatigue, chills, sore throat, body aches, a persistent and/or dry cough, “allergy” symptoms, diarrhea, loss of smell and taste etc. Post COVID-19 shots do not necessarily mean that you cannot still contract COVID-19. Therefore, if you do contract it, some of the breakthrough symptoms include breathlessness, ear ache, swollen glands, sneezing and loss of taste and smell.
Allow 5 days before returning to therapy after the last day of any symptoms as a precaution.
Please cancel your appointment if you have been around someone in the last 5 days that is not feeling well.
Please be on time due to the time it takes to complete cleaning between patients and the time that is needed for checking patients in and out.
Please wait in your car until your therapist waves you in at the appointment time.
Co-pays or any payments will be taken next.
You will be asked to wash your hands after laying your items in the treatment room bin that is cleaned after each patient. (If you need to touch your items (i.e. phone) we will ask you to re-wash your hands to avoid cross contamination.)
If you need to use the restroom please do so before treatment to help with cleaning procedures. As an added PRECAUTION, we are asking patients to wash their hands BEFORE using the restroom (and after) to avoid cross contamination.
Making appointments will be done over the phone or email.
Please do not bring anyone to your appointment unless you need help to walk to the front door or unless a child under 18 years old is being treated because we are not allowing anyone to sit in the lobby at this time.
We will wipe down any assistive devices.
Thank you for your understanding.
